Big Foot Beach State Park

Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Big Foot Beach State Park offers 5 miles of hiking trails, a family campground, swimming beach and picnic and playground areas. YERKES OBSERVATORY

Built in 1897 and home to the world’s largest refracting telescope, Yerkes’ iconic dome can be seen high above the treetops. It was one of two places Albert Einstein asked to visit on his 1921 tour of America. Today, Yerkes is open to the public for tours and special events.

Fishing

Lake Geneva is a popular fishing lake. Summer pleasure boat traffic becomes extremely heavy during summer. The lake is best known for its quality small-mouth bass population, though large-mouth bass and northern pike are well represented here too.
